Foundation Diploma (FD)
ACCA is pleased to announce the launch of the new Foundation Diploma in Pakistan and Bangladesh, available from 9 May 2013. If you want a rewarding career in finance and accountancy and have no previous qualifications, then the Foundation Diploma is a great place to start. Once you’ve completed it, you’ll be automatically transferred to the ACCA Qualification and given exemptions from the first three exams.
The Foundation Diploma is currently only available to new students, registering from 9 May 2013 in Bangladesh and Pakistan and this is in response to demand in these countries for this award. Students in other countries are still eligible to complete individual qualifications within Foundations in Accountancy which include Introductory Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting; Intermediate Certificate in Financial and Management Accounting; and Diploma in Accounting and Business. These awards are essentially the equivalent of the Foundation Diploma and both qualifications provide entry to the ACCA Qualification on completion, with exemptions from exams F1-F3.
